In response to queries about JCRC Boston’s thoughts regarding President Trump’s remarks last night about the future of Gaza, our CEO, Jeremy Burton, made the following statement:
Any decision about the people of Gaza staying in or leaving Gaza needs to be made by the Palestinian civilians of Gaza, free from any coercion by Hamas which has held them under the control of its terrorist regime for nearly two decades.
No decision to commit the United States to a new, large-scale and potentially very expensive foreign policy initiative should be made without broad, bipartisan, and explicit support from Congress.
We continue to be grateful to President Trump for his efforts toward achieving the current ceasefire. Our priority — which we strongly encourage our government to continue its focus on — is bringing the remaining hostages home and continuing the ceasefire process into its next phase.
Warm regards,

Jeremy Burton
Chief Executive Officer, JCRC of Greater Boston
